    In her will, written 8 April 1852 and proved 4 Mar 1853, Barbara Gernant names five daughters, Catharine, Mary, Sarah, Anna, and Hannah.
    She makes bequests to Geolst? Ruth, Daniel E? Ruth, Hannah E Ruth.
    She describes a property "my share and part of the house and lot of ground situated in the village of Sinking Springs Berks County Pennsylvania adjoining property of Henry Mull widow Miller Reuben mill and Dauphin Turnpike".

    Letters of administration were granted 12 Mar 1853 to Jonathan Ruth.

    He deposes that Barbara Gernant had no personal property.8
