    To son Jacob my plantation whereon I live in Oley 354 acres, 144
    perches for £3000. All estate divided into equal shares among 8
    children, viz: Jacob, Samuel, John, Peter, David, Nicholas, Susanna
    wife of Robert CLARK, and Catharine wife of Jacob SELTZER.

    On 4 Oct 1805 six of the eight heirs of Jacob Kauffman acknowledged receipt of £794.8.8 apiece from the executors Hannah Kauffman and Jacob Kauffman, and released the executors from further claims. Those six were Robert and Susannah Clark, Jacob and Catharine Seltzer, and David, John, Nicholas and Peter Kauffman.

    On 7 Oct 1805 Samuel Kauffman of Indiana Territory Illinois grant Clark County Springwell Township yeoman acknowledged receipt of £794.8.8 from Hannah Kauffman and Jacob Kauffman executor of the estate of Samuel's father Jacob Kauffman late of Oley Township.
