• Note*: On 7 Oct 1893 Chas A Moore submitted two petitions to the Berks County Orphans Court, requesting that the Reading Trust Company be appointed the guardian of the estates of two of his children. They were: Charles C. Moore, born 3 June 1880, child of Chas A Moore and his wife Jennie Moore, deceased; the child residing at 4425 6th St. Reading. And Emily H. Moore, born 10 June 1882, child of Chas A. Moore and Jennie his wife, deceased; the child residing at 6025 5th at Reading. The petition was approved.²
• Note: The Reading Trust Company filed an account for the years 1894 through 1904. Most of the payments were to A.B. Moore for maintenance and clothing, with one transaction from Lucien Hognet. After reaching 21, on 11 March 1904 Emily received $11179.14.³

  "Mrs. J. Walter Davis, of Glen Moore, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hatfield, of Coatesville RD, were Sunday visitors of the former's sister, Emily Moore, in Philadelphia."

  "Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hatfield, Mrs. Miriam Stauffer, Faye Stauffer, Mrs. Clyde Davis and Mrs. Walter Davis attended the funeral of the latter's sister, Emily Moore of Philadelphia in Reading on Saturday afternoon."⁴
