  • Note: The Falls Monthly Meeting register of Edward and Ann Bailey's children lists children Mary through Edward with their birth dates 1760 through 1769. Then the names Mercy and Tacey are written, in another hand, without birth dates. No other children are listed.

    Amos Satterthwaite's book adds the twin sisters Susan and Sarah, both "b. 5.21.1771, d. young".

    Edward Bailey's will names a daughter Susannah.

    The names Susannah and Susan were often interchanged in that era. This compiler has found no further record of either name, and has assumed that the Susannah of the will was the Susan reported to have died young.
