    "... Miss Moore was born at Womelsdorf, Pa., near Reading... She attended boarding schools in Hagerstown, Md., and Bordentown, N. J., where she made friendships which continued until her death.

    With her father Miss Moore came to Redlands in 1895 for his health; they were joined two years later by her mother and brother, Paul, who had remained in the East taking care of Mrs. Moore's aged father.

    During her 40 years in Redlands, Miss Moore was actively engaged in the work of the Women's Union of the Congregational Church and the Contemporary Club. She contributed largely to the local Red Cross unit in its production work during the World War. Miss Moore traveled extensively. Seven years ago she made a trip around the world. Last fall she sailed to Panama and was looking forward to a trip to the Land of the Midnight Sun next summer.

    Since the death of her father, Miss Moore had been associated with her brother in the ownership of the Redlands Daily Facts and had made her home with his family.
