Notes
- Immigration*: 17501
- Note*: "They had five children:
(1) Anna Margaretta b. 19 Feb 1731 - she or her mother was a sponsor to the baptism of Anna Margaretta Sumi in Swatara Twp., Penn. in 1751.
(2) Anna Elizabeth b. 28 June 1739
(3) Johann Daniel b 27 Oct 1741, prob. died as an infant - next child same name
(4) Daniel b. 20 July 1744, died Aug 1744
(5) Johann Conrad b. 19 April 1746, died 23 Jan 1747
Only 2 of these children lived beyond infancy, Anna Margaretta and Anna Elisabeth. The family immigrated with two children to Penn. in 1750 and lived very near to Isaiah. They appear to have had no additional children born in the U.S. since baptism records of the 1750's show them several times as sponsors but never as parents."1 - Note: "older brother, Johannes, also received permission to immigrate from Weidenthal (near Mutterstadt) in 1750 with his wife and two children. No land or tax records of this Johannes in Pennsylvania have ever been found (Penn. Archives, etc.), but he and his wife, Anna Margaretha, have been found as sponsors at baptisms of the Sumi family at Swatara and Tulpehocken Twps. in Berks Co., Pennsylvania in 1751 (only Margaretta), 1753, and 1754."1
