  On 11 Nov 1805 widow Eve renounced and an administration bond was posted by administrators John Mingel and Abraham Mingel, sons of Peter Mengel late of Caernarvon Twp. Berks Co miller deceased, and bondsmen Isaac Adams of Reading shopkeeper and John Ruth of Cumru Twp. farmer.
  
  On 8 April 1806 John Mengle eldest son petitioned the court for a valuation of his fathers land, stating that Peter Mengle was survived by his widow Eve and six children, John, Abraham, Francis, Henry, Peter and Isaac.
  
  Guardians Henry Ruth, John Ruth, and Isaac Addams were appointed for minors Henry, Peter & Isaac Mengel.
  
  The distribution was £2800 total plus £1400 after death of widow.²
