  Peter Ruth died intestate in Berks County Pennsylvania.
  On 26 Aug 1784 administration was granted Anna Margret Ruth "widow and relict of Peter Ruth deceased".
  On 20 Oct 1784 the inventory was made, totaling £520.11.2.
  On 15 Dec 1785 he administration account was filed, with a balance to be distributed of £308.12.0.
  On 8 Feb 1786 the court approved the planned distribution.
  
  That distribution was to the legal heirs: one half to the widow Anna Margret Ruth, and 1/12th each of the other half to the three siblings Michael Ruth, Jacob Ruth and Christian Ruth, and to the nine children of Johann Peter Ruth and his second wife Catharine Mayer, namely
  Catharina Moyer, George Ruth, Catharina Echart, John Ruth, Barbara Adams, Eve Mengel, Henry Ruth, Francis Ruth, and Barbara Hahn heir of Peter's half-sister Magdalena Hahn.
  
  On 14 Jan 1788 a petition was filed by Isaac Adams and Peter Mengel, husbands of two of the heirs Barbara and Eva. The objection is difficult to read. The petition was rejected by the court.⁴
