  • Note: Reading newspaper, obituary 22 Oct 1922:
"William H. Moore, a retired jeweler and at one time resident of this city, died at his home in Philadelphia, aged 69 years. He was a son of James and Catherine Moore and was born at Womelsdorf. When a young man he learned the jeweler's trade with his uncle, Solomon Weida, one of the old time jewelers of Reading located at 530 Penn street. He removed to Philadelphia more than 45 years ago and started in business for himself, in which he was successful, retiring a few years ago. Surviving are his widow and two sons, Walter and Elmer, and two grandsons."6
