    The 17 Jan 1885 petition of Beckie Wells by her mother Elmira Wells represents that the petitioner is a minor child of James M. Moore late of Reading under the age of fourteen, having an estate coming to her from her late grandmother Lydia Wells.

    On the same date Jennie Wells petitions that she is a minor child of James M Wells, above the age of fourteen years, having an estate coming to her from her late grandmother Lydia Wells.7
