    He was a life long resident of Reading and was a son of the late William A. and Lydia (nee Moore) Wells. The survivors are his widow, Margaret Elizabeth (nee Ruth), at home; four children, Lydia, wife of John H. Mull, Reading; Daniel R. and William M., well-known symphonic musicians of New York, and Margaret Elizabeth Wells, M. A., an instructor at the Missouri State Normal School, Warrensburg, Mo. A grandson, William M. Wells, and two brothers, Arthur A., Reading, and Thomas McD. Wells, Philadelphia, also remain."2
