Survived by his widow and three children: Son Samuel, graduate of Princeton University, professor of English at Ann Arbor Michigan. Daughters Mrs Charles B. Kennedy of Trenton, and Mrs. J. Fred Cross, of East Orange. Also survived by brothers Rev. Francis H. Moore and Edward J. Moore. Predeceased by brother Samuel a few weeks before, and by sisters Miss Marion Moore and Mrs. William Finley, both of Philadelphia.
Born in Philadelphia 69 years ago, raised there. Head of an omnibus company in there. Later removed to Lancaster, in the tobacco business. At Lancaster married Miss Ida Cadwell in 1876. Brought to Trenton 26 years ago when the Trenton trolley system was electrified. For many years a director of the old Trenton Trust Company. Interested in Philadelphia banking institutions and his brothers are identified with large banks there.
