James Tillum Moore was one of the executors of the 1848 Berks county will of his father Samuel Moore.
He is possibly the 'Moore, James S., 48, dry goods merchant' listed in the 1870 US Census Stouchsburg household of Maria Moore and Thomas and Mary A (Moore) Searle. - Note: Probate file includes affidavit of death, inventory, renunciation, accounts. Second administrator Mary A. Searle. Inventory 18 Mar 1879 $2,330.24. He is named "James T. Moore" throughout. Those renouncing right to act as administrators were Samuel Moore, John Moore, B. Frank. Taylor and Geo. L. Brown.3
