- Elisabet, dau. of Georg and Catharina Wallborn, b. 28 Nov. 1769, bp. 9 Dec. 1769. Sponsors: Peter and Maria Brua5 - Note: No son named Christian:
On 9 Nov 1790 Christina Walborn of Heidelberg Twp. Berks Co. spinster appoints her friend Lawrence Bennage of Paxton Twp. Dauphin. Co. her lawful attorney to recover legacies due to me out of the estate of my father George Walborn late of Berks Co. deceased in the possession of my guardian Ludwich Fisher. (Recorded 9 Dec 1790 Berks Co Deed Bk 12, p. 69. See also Bk 12, p. 196)
Author Herman Walborn cited this power of attorney appointment. He misread the name as "Christian" rather than "Christina", and came up with a non-existent person - Christian #1-5-5-4 (p. 101). It is not clear where the birth date given in the book came from, 4/15/1771 - it is not in published baptism records.
Also note that while guardians were appointed for the three known daughters, none was appointed for a son Christian.6,7 - Note: Taxes:
George Walborn was taxed in 1767 and 1769, for 100 acres of land.8 - Note: Probate:

Inventory, 5 Jan 1771, £85.16.6.
Account, 14 Jan 1772. Plantation sold for £809. Balance in hands of executors £911.
Petition, 14 Jan 1772, of Catharine Walborn widow and relict. That said John George Walborn died about 13 months ago leaving Catharine of age five years, Christina of age four years, Elizabeth of age two years. Requests appointment of guardians. Appointments, 14 Jan 1772, Michael Rith of Tulpehocken appt for Catharine the oldest dau. Ludwig Fisher of Heidelberg for Christina & Elizabeth.9,10 - Note: Partition of land of Hermanus Walborn:
On 3 April 1765 by George Walborn and Peter Brua made an agreement to partition the land of Hermanus Walborn, each claimed three sixths. George's three shares were, by deeds, those of George, Michael and Christina. The source of Peter Brua's three shares was unstated and is unclear. He appears to have owned two shares, and had assurances of purchasing one share when some unidentified person came of age. The agreement stated the mets and bound of the division and had a map of the properties. In addition to the partition, the agreement addressed water and a dam and ditch. (Berks Co. Deed Bk. B1, p. 364)
