    There appeared to have been a John Fendrich in Columbia and this J.L Fendrich in Harrisburg.
    This J. L. Fendrich was of Columbia, Pa. at time of marriage.
    In the 1883 Harrisburg City Directory is an entry for Joseph L Fendrich (Hummel, Fendrich & Co.)
    On 3 Oct 1883 a party of Harrisburg people attend a wedding in Columbia of Doctor Henry, of Bedford, and Miss Mary Fendrich, a sister of joseph Fendrich, of Harrisburg.
    A John Fendrich (1834-1894) and his wife Mary Elizabeth Lowrey Fendrich (1832-1892) are buried in Columbia, with Findagrave photos.
    There are frequent adds in Harrisburg papers around 1884 placed by john Fendrich and by J. L. Fendrich.
    Joseph's Harrisburg store was closed 20 Nov 1884 by the sheriff executing a judgement.
