• Note*: "Ebenezer [Howell] (11), son of Daniel (6), died October 28th, 1813, aged 45, married Hannah, daughter of Alexander Biles, of Lawrence, and had children : Elizabeth, married Andrew Brown; Rachel, married Charles Bailey; Stephen, married; Ebenezer, married Hannah Rosecrantz; Phebe, married Charles Hart; William, married Sarah Ann Carman; Martha, married Wilson Servis.
  Daniel (12), son of Daniel (6), married, first his brother Ebenezer's widow, by whom he had Ephraim, married Elizabeth Belford, and Nancy, wife of Simeon Reeder. He married a second time in the West, and had children: Daniel; Samuel; Eunice; and Mary."¹

  Say that Hannah Biles was born circa 1770, then she is a bit old to be a sister of brothers William and Alexander Biles, and she is the right age to be an older sister of Martha Biles Anthony (but unknown to then young Thomas Jefferson Biles in Trenton around 1810?), and she would be the right age to be a daughter of the Pennington church painter.
