  • Note*: Listed as a private in the 27 May 1776 return of Capt. Jacob Fridley's company of the Fourth Battalion Lancaster County Associators, under Col. James Burd. This company was raised in the neighborhood of Hummelstown, and served in the campaign of 1776, and were present at Trenton and Princeton. (Penn. Archives, 5th series, 7:349-351).2
