    Dr. Sidney J. Repplier, medical director of the Curtis Publishing Co. for 37 years until his retirement in 1948, died Sunday. Dr. Repplier lived at 219 E. Willow Grove ave., Chestnut Hill. He was 73.

    Dr Repplier was born in Reading and was graduated from the Medical School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1904. He practiced privately before joining the Curtis Company medical staff.

    He was a major in the Army Medical Corps during the First World War. He was a member of the Philadelphia County Medical Society and the American medical Association. Dr. Repplier is survived by his wife, the former Charlotte Neall; a daughter, Mrs. Lyman R. Hanson, Jr., of Philadelphia, and a son, Sidney N., of Oreland. Funeral services and burial will be private.9
