• Note: The Margaret Scott hung as a witch in 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts, and her husband Benjamin, are not to be confused with the Scotts of Burlington county, New Jersey, who both died in New Jersey by 1685. Numerous internet posters make this ridiculous mistake.
