Notes

  • Immigration*: 1683; Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., Pennsylvania; May Tyson probably immigrated with her brother Robert on the ship Concord which arrived Oct. 8 1683.
  • Note*: Roberts says it seems probable that Mary, the wife of Jan Lucken, was a Tyson, and the sister of Reynear Tyson, citing "The Hallowell-Paul Family History" (p. 104), which cites Dr. Learned of Univ. of Penn. and the late Governor Samuel W. Pennypacker; Roberts also cites "Colonial Families in America", V:330. Roberts also states the alternative that Mary was the daughter of Thones Kunders, citing Howard Barclay French's "Genealogy of the Descendants of Thomas French".5
