  • Note*: "The son Thomas, to whom [Thomas Fairman] had willed 1/2 his Shackamaxon homestead, had served in the Army of the Duke of Marlborough. He died in 1718, on board a ship of war on a voyage from London to the South Sea. He was buried at sea, according to Naval form and no will was known to exist. An Administration is recorded in Administration Book C, p. 30."3
  • Note: Pennsylvania Archives, Third Series, Vol. VIII, p. 151: "and whereas the aforesaid Thomas Fairman the Son is since deceased intestate and without issue and the lot or pice of ground aforesaid descended to Benjamin Fairman, brother and heir to the said Thomas Fairman the younger, and whereas the said Benjamin Fairman and Susanna, his wife, by their indenture, dated the twentieth day of the month called June, in the year one thousand seven hundred twenty seven...."
