  • Birth*: 15 December 1806; Burlington Co., New Jersey; Sarah's date of birth is given differently in two Chester MM records: In the Membership book it is written "12 mo 15 1806"; in the older list of the births of the first three children it is written "12th of 9t mo. 1807". The next child was born 24th day 2nd mo 1808, so the earlier birth date for Sarah seems reasonable.1,2
