    January 5 1675 at a court held in Hempstead "goody Champin" gave testimony in a dispute regarding tobacco (p. 346).

    May 24 1682 about eighty persons pledged yearly support of the minister Jeremy Hubard, including "fransis Champin £o.05.0." (p. 381).

    February 15 1682/3 "frances champin" sold a lot of meadow on the easterly side of "long neck which was layd out to my husband Thomas Champin at rocaway being the tenth loot in number and in quantity of acars two and a quarter..." (p. 448)2
