- Note: "The children of Capt. Scudder were all baptized at Hopewellby Rev. Jedediah Andrews of the First Presbyterian Churchof Philadelphia; on Aug. 2, 1711, eight of the children and onApl. 21, 1713, a daughter Joanna, the youngest child.1
