"Item: I give and bequeath unto my Cousins, Thomas Moore, James Moore, Lydia Moore and Nancy Moore of Lewistown, in cash, Four hundred dollars each; and also to them severally, a due Bill of the Millerstown and Lewistown Turnpike Company for one hundred and thirty five Dollars."
The will of William Moore's sister Frances Moore of Womelsdorf, Pennsylvania, who died 1858, states:
"to the children of my uncle John Moore, Thomas, James and Nancy Moore the sum of 30 dollars each"
The 'Legacies Paid' section of her probate record:
"To Thomas Moore, son of John Moore (uncle of testatrix)...
To James Moore, son of John Moore (uncle of testatrix)...
To Nancy Moore, daughter of John Moore (uncle of testatrix)..."
Note that Thomas, James and Nancy were all of the surviving children of John Moore.2,1 - Note: A record ascribed to William Moore of Lebanon (d. 1841) states:

There are John Moore's in the 1790, 1800, and 1810 censuses in Mifflin and Lancaster counties. But none are particularly close to Lewistown or Marietta.6
