  • Note*: On 31 July 1833 James Sharp and Isabella his wife of Sharpsburg, Indiana Township, Allegheny county granted to Catherine Love of the same place, in consideration of $188.75, a lot situated in Sharpsburg, being part of the Cunningham's District of depreciated land, adjoining the Freeport road and a towing path, containing one acre and 142 perches.     On 3 Oct 1835 Christopher Love and Catharine his wife of Sharpsburg, Indiana township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania granted to John Cunningham, in consideration of $300, a lot in Sharpsburg, between Middle Street and the canal, 231' x 27' x 202' x 68', containing 52 perches, being part of a larger lot which James Sharp and Isabella his wife by deed dated 31 July 1833 and recorded in Vol. 47, p. 166 granted to Catharine Love, being part of Lot No. 13 in the Cunningham's district.

    On 9 Apr 1836 Christopher Love and Catharine his wife of Sharpsburg, Indiana township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, granted to Thomas Whiteside, in consideration of $500, granted a messuage in Sharpsburg, on Main Street 200' to Middle Street 40' to Mulberry Alley 200' to Main St. 40' to beginning, 2_ & 1/2 perches, being part of Lot No. 13 in Cunningham's district, which James Sharp and Isabella his wife by deed dated 31 July and recorded in Book X2 Vol 47, page 166 conveyed part thereof to Catherine Love.     On 9 Apr 1836 Christopher Love and Catherine his wife of Sharpsburg, Indiana township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, granted to John Wise, in consideration of $100, a messuage in Sharpsburg, on Main Street 28' X 100', containing 10 1/3 perches, being part of Lot No. 13 in Cunningham district, which James Sharp and Isabella his wife by deed dated 31 July 1833 recorded Book X2d Vol. 47 page 166 conveyed a part thereof to Catharine Love.   • Note: Will of Catharine Love of the Borough of Sharpsburg, Allegheny Co. Pennsylvania written 29 Jan 1847, codicil 2 Apr 1847, proved 27 April 1847. To my daughter Jane Love, the old house, to my son Wm Moore Love, the new house, to my two grandsons Wm Alexr Campbell and John Campbell. If William dies single, his lot divided among the others [this happened]. Executors Revd. John Murry and John Campbell.

  • Note: Six burials had been relocated on 22 Mar 1881 from the Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church graveyard to the Sharpsburg Greenwood Cemetery, to a plot owned by James Jordan (Section 3, Range 6, Lot 11). Included were the remains of George Love, died 17 May 1847, Catherine Love, died 4 April 1847, Christopher Love, died 12 May 1846, and an unnamed Love.3
