Notes

In script it is frequently very difficult to tell whether it is written as 'Himmelreich' or 'Himmebeich'. Plus expected variations - single 'm', drop the second 'e', and end with 'bauch'.

Samuel Himmelreich first appears, as a Single Man, in an 1814 list - the same list in which his father first appeared.

He then appears as a freeholder in lists for 1823 through 1835. In the returns, he owns 43 acres, the same as his father did, with one wooden house, and one or two horses, and one or two cows. He is listed as a farmer, except in 1828 when he is listed as an innkeeper. In 1835 the property had a tenant, Seag Samuel.6
