28 Mar 1922: Henry J. MacDonald's attorney moved for dismissal of charges against him of aggravated assault and battery and wilful desertion of minor children.

6 May 1922: Divorce granted 5 May 1922.⁴
Note: Mrs. Eliza Hummel MacDonald died of heart attack yesterday in Avalon, N.J. Survived by sister Mrs. J. Allan Donaldson, and three daughters Helen, married to Ralph Wilson, Elizabeth Jane, married to L. Donald Kohr, and Gratzia, married to William Martin Radcliffe.⁵
Note: Miss Grazia Macdonald, daughter of Mrs. Eliza Hummel Macdonald of 2228 North Second street to Ralph Edward Wilson, son of Mrs. Mary Wilson of Camp Hill took place yesterday...given away by her uncle J. Allen Donadlson...attended by her sister Mrs. L. Donald Kohr.⁶
