Bucks Pennsylvania yeoman on 3 February 1709 granted to Samuel Biles son of John Biles of same co. yeoman one sixteenth part of one full or equal undivided hundredth part or whole propriety except 400 acres of western division of New Jersey except 625 acres already taken up. This tract was a part of three lots, one of 110 acres surveyed in March 1701 to Thomas Lambert, one of 244 purchased by Thomas Lambert, and 36 acres overplus returned on a 1711 warrant to Samuel Biles. By Thomas lambert's will, these tracts went to his four daughters Elizabeth Biles, Hannah Lambert who was married to Thomas Cadwalader, Achsah Lambert and Margaret Lambert. By her will Margaret's share went to the other three sisters. The lands had been twice resurveyed. The share of sister Elizabeth Biles was 163 acres, which per her will were to be sold by her executor Lambert Cadwalador for the support of her nephew Thomas Langhorne Biles. This deed describes these transactions in greater detail. Recorded 13 May 1774 West Jersey Deeds, Vol. AH p. 413-418. Abstracted by Jeff Moore; viewed on FHL microfilm 450065.3
