  • Note*: "He was one of the largest taxpayers in Dublin township when the first general levy...was made in May 1693."

    The Dublin meeting declined during the Keithian controversy. Many Dublin Friends, among them Jonathan's children, transferred their membership to Abington upon completion of the new meeting house in 1702.

    Jonathan Livezey's "will is a long and carefully-drawn document, designed to provide for every contingency...The will expressed the wish that Rachel remain a widow until one of the sons reached his majority...Rachel failed to abide by Jonathan's injunction...There is evidence that her remarriage caused an estrangement between Rachel and Jonathan's children."3
