Notes

  • Note*: Evan Lloyd brought a certificate from Radnorshire dated 3rd month 1710 and arrived in Pennsylvania that year.

In 1719 Evan purchased 250 acres of land in Horsham, about three miles from the land of Thomas and Martha Wood.

Evan Lloyd is described in the will of Thomas Lloyd as 'kinsman'. In her 1747 Philadelphia Co. will, Martha Parry, daughter of Evan Lloyd, wife of Thomas Parry, describes Thomas Lloyd as 'beloved Uncle'. [In 18th century usage the term 'uncle' had a broader meaning than it does today.]1
