- Note*: McCracken extensively explores without resolution the question of who might be Susannah's father. He considers in turn Thomas, John and Edward Stevenson, and Daniel Whitehead.1
- Note: Susannah's husband died April 1701 at Newtown, Long Island. She was there July 1701. Soon after she removed to Chesterfield, Burlington Co., N.J., where she resided with her daughter, Susanna Marriott, until her own death.5
