  • Birth*: circa 1648; "The bride [Jane Crafford] was possibly a daughter of the David Crawford ("Krafford" in the record) who had arrived at New Amsterdam from Holland in the Ship 'The Fox' ("D'Vos") with his wife and a child of 14 years on 31 Aug. 1662. Possibly this immigrant was also the David Crawford who was one of Anthony Cook's fellow soldiers at Kingston in 1668."1
